The Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children, and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements.

  • This is a blended learning course including an online portion and an instructor-led classroom skill session.
  • The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion.
  • The online portion must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection (Firefox or Chrome recommended).
  • Allow approximately 2 hours to complete the online portion.
  • Please bring a copy of the completion record or a copy of the email confirmation received upon completion of the online portion to the in-class session.
  • Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

  • BLS builds critical thinking, problem-solving, and team dynamic skills to drive better patient outcomes.

  • Allow 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the online portion.

This course will train instructor candidates to teach basic-level American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED courses. In order to participate in this course, you must possess a current basic-level American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED (or higher level) certification or equivalent and be at least 16 years of age on the last day of the instructor course. Upon registration, it is important that you review and follow the directions on the e-mail attachment sent with your registration confirmation. This is a blended learning course consisting of online content, a precourse skills session and classroom segments. Online material must be completed prior to attending the classroom activities.
